Label-backed pro-performance-royalties group the MusicFirst Coalition is engaging in some name-calling, referring to "big radio" as "piggish" and saying radio is looking for a "bailout" by "refusing to pay musicians for their work." NAB EVP Dennis Wharton calls protesters' appearance at the NAB offices with an inflatable pig in tow a "silly frat-boy stunt."
